2008 Idaho Scholastic State Championship (Boise)- wins State Title in the High School Section (K-12) 1st Place Overall- perfect score.

2008 Idaho Closed State Championship (Twin Falls)- wins clear 1st Place in the “Class A” section.

2007 National Grade Championship (Houston)- wins double National titles, 1st in his grade and also 1st in the K-6 Blitz championship.

2007 U.S. Open Championship (Cherry Hill)- places 2nd Overall in his rated section- wins $500

2007 National Elementary Championship (Nashville)- places 1st in the Team Chess event with his brother, Carl, wins 3rd Place Overall in the K-3 section.
